P.G. Diploma in Broadcast System Maintenance (20 Seats)

( Self Financed Full Time Diploma Course of One Year Duration )

The advent of Satellite Broadcast and proliferation of T.V. and Radio Channels and Production companies have created an unprecedented demand for personnel who can support the technical infrastructure required for production and transmission. T hrough lectures, discussions and extensive hands-on experience, the course seeks to train engineers and technicians to handle, operate, repair, and maintain electronic and broadcast equipment. On completion of the course, students are expected to find employment with production houses, T.V & Radio channels, Media Institutions, and all organizations that require technical and hardware support.

Eligibility

Engineering or science graduates (with Physics) or graduates in electronics/communication/ computer hardware /electrical, with a minimum of 50% marks will be eligible for admission in this course

 
Admission Process

The Admission test will be held as per the schedule given on page_________. The examination will comprise of a Written Test and a Final Interview.

  • The Written Exam will be held in the university campus, Delhi. The paper will be designed to assess the potential talent of the candidates, their aptitude, general awareness and views over a wide area of knowledge. Short listed candidates will be asked to appear for the Interview.
  • The Interview will be held at MCRC, Delhi. The number of candidates called for the interview shall be three times the number of seats (category-wise) in order of merit provided that they have secured at least 33% marks in the written test.
   

Entrance Test

The following is the distribution of marks for the Entrance Examination. The following is the distribution of marks for entrance test :-

Interview: 15marks
   

The List of candidates short-listed for written test and final interview shall be posted on the Centre’s Notice Board and website as per the admission schedule.
