Having graduated from JMI New Delhi, India as Bachelor of fine arts he shifted to New Zealand to pursue Postgraduate Diploma & Masters in Computer Graphic Designing from Wanganui school of Design, New Zealand.

He also taught in the same university as a peer tutor. His first short animation ‘The haunted house’ was included in an interactive CDrom Inside 5, winner of Tuanz entertainment/ news media award 2004 (NZ). He is in addition a children book writer and illustrator too: his first book ‘Swami and the white elephant’ was published by Rupa & co. (New Delhi) in 2004. Building on his previous experience both in and out of the classroom, he continues to work today using a variety of techniques and aesthetics. He aspires to create exceptional animations while maintaining a distinctive “artist’s hand” in its quality.
