| She has conducted workshops on participatory video practices in south Asia and has been a jury member at several film festivals including Film South Asia, Kathmandu and the Kara International film festival in Karachi. Gadihoke was a Fulbright fellow at Syracuse University during 1995-96 and her research interests focus on the history, culture and practice of photography in India as well as issues of gender and technology. Her book Camera Chronicles, a biography of Homai Vyarawalla, India’s first woman photo-journalist was released in early 2006. |
