Sohail Akbar is a lecturer in Still Photography. He did his MA Mass Communication from this Centre in 1988 and has since been actively involved with the medium both as a practicing photographer as well as a teacher. Sohail joined the Education faculty of Jamia as a lecturer in Educational Technology where he taught the use of Media in Education. He also taught photography as a Craft to the students of B Ed. He is employed with the AJKMCRC since August 2006.
